Hii my beauties đ Â !!
Today is all about MAC Cosmeticsâ eyeshadows.
When I started getting into makeup, which was about 3 to 4 years ago, MAC was the only high-end brand I knew, so buying MAC makeup was the obvious thing to do.
Honestly, back then I knew very little of the beauty universe, so I wasnât even using all those products to their fullest potential, but I did like them a lot and my first high-end eyeshadow palette was MACâs Cool Neutrals and I loved it to death.
So, now after all these years, and after trying many other different brands, which are less, more and as expensive as MAC shadows, I feel like I can share with you guys my thoughts on their eyeshadow formula.
So, let me start by saying this, these eyeshadows are BEGINNER FRIENDLY, which means, they are have medium opacity, they are PIGMENTED but not so pigmented to the point that it will be difficult to blend them out, and if you are looking for a full blown smokey eye, just like the one I did on my previous post (click HERE to read it), you will definitely need to layer them, but they do LAYER BEAUTIFULLY.
If you are looking into MAC eyeshadows for those one and done kind of application, these are not the shadows for you, from my experience, MAC shadows take a little more blending and layering, and as I mentioned above, these are beginner friendly.
One thing I like about this formula is that the shadows are really SOFT and they BLEND OUT FAIRLY EASILY, and once they are blended out, they give a beautiful seamless look, they DONâT GET PATCHY at all. MACâs shimmer/metallic shadows are sooo good, I really love how FINELY MILLED and different their shimmer/metallics are.
Another thing that I really love about MAC is that they have a GREAT VARIETY OF SHADES in their collection, from mattes, to shimmers, to duochromes, mettalics, you name it, theyâve got it.
These are my thoughts on MAC eyeshadows. Have you tried their formula? What do you think about it? Do let me know in the comment section below.
