How to restore your skin and hair in 3 easy ways

First of all, a very happy new year to all of you, hope you had an amazing first week, and even better rest of the week.

Now that all of that the holiday season is officially over, let’s focus on getting back on track, and for that it’s very important to ‘reset’ the skin, and on today’s post I will share with you guys how to easily get your skin to what it was before the holiday’s season started.

I know all of us get PUFFY EYES because of all of those late nights, lack of sleeping and many other reasons, and a quick way to reduce it is by putting ice cold spoons on your eyes, and leaving them for about five minutes and you will see a significant difference, or you can go the traditional way by putting green tea bags on your eyes and relaxing while your eyes depuff. These tricks will make a huge difference for your under eye bags.

Now let’s get to the SKIN, during the holidays we are more care free, of course, and don’t end up taking care of our skin as much as we usually do in our daily routine. So, naturally the skin will roughen up a bit with all the dead skin accumulated, and that’s why it’s very important to remove all the dead skin.

You can do that with a simple and easy homemade body scrub with 3 ingredients that you can easily find at home. You can mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, honey and an oil of your choice (almond, coconut or olive) and rub the mixture onto the skin (you can also use this scrub for the face). This will not only remove all the dead skin and but these ingredients also have healing qualities and will leave your skin looking soft and nourished.

And of course not forgetting the HAIR. Hair also needs some TLC (Tender, Love and Care) after all the stress that it goes through styling, pool water, and other activities.

So, you can make this easy and quick mask that will give your hair some shine and conditioning again using three ingredients only, one egg, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix these ingredients well and apply to the scalp and the lengths of the hair, leave it for about 20-30 minutes then wash it off completely. And your hair will be noticeably nourished and shiny, egg helps a lot with nourishment.
