Hii my beauties 💋 💋 !!
MAKEUP REMOVAL, I’ve been asked so many time how I remove my makeup, even though it seems as easy as washing the face with some face wash, it is not. Throughout the years I have learned that there is a wrong way to remove the makeup, because, as weird as it sounds, makeup is not removed in one wash.
In today’s post I will share my makeup removal routine and post makeup removal skincare, to help you guys understand why makeup cannot be removed in one wash.
Let’s go through the steps:
Step 1:
Which I call my phase one for makeup removal, I remove all the makeup using MAKEUP WIPES. This will help remove at least 80% of the makeup (yes, 80% ONLY). And it’s a good start for the makeup removal process, because it will remove most of the makeup and will help reduce the times you wash your face to completely remove it.
Step 2 (OPTIONAL):
EXFOLIATE THE SKIN, I only do this step when I go for full glam, because there is a lot of makeup and some of it might have sunk into the pores, by exfoliating your remove all that makeup.
Step 3:
Washing with CLEANSING OIL, I love using an oil based cleanser to remove all that stubborn eyeliner, mascara, and other hard to remove makeup, because it will remove it without harming the skin (plus the skin will feel soft and fluffy), my to go one is The Body Shop’s Chamomile Silky Cleansing Oil (I lovee this product).
Step 4:
Then finally I wash my face using a FACE WASH, to remove the leftovers of the cleansing oil and after (ALL) that my makeup is finally removed.
After I remove the makeup I do the usual, apply some toner to the skin and some face lotion or face oil depending on how my skin feels that day and of course some lip balm to keep the lips hydrated.
And this very complicated makeup removal process is what I usually do to remove my makeup. How do you remove your makeup? Do let me know in the comment section below.
