Hii my beauties 💋 !!
Finally back to blogging, I missed it a lot the past week, but I needed a small break just to regain my energy and get back in the zone.
So, today’s look is a half cut-crease. Now the half cut-crease is all over social media, and it actually looks really pretty and quite wearable to be honest, if you compare it to the cut crease.
But because it was looking a bit simple, I added a colorful waterline eyeliner and some glitter on the crease line.
So let’s get to the look!
As always, first I started with the eyes, I usually prefer to start with the eyes.
So, for the EYES I used:
- Eyebrows: Benefit Ka-Brow in the shade no5 + Anastacia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Granite
- Eyeshadow primer: MAC’s Paint Pot in Painterly
- Eyeshadows: Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Palette (KVD) + Bh Cosmetics Foil Eyes Palette (BH)
- Set the primer: Rimmel’s Stay Matte in the shade 004 Sandstorm
- Transition Color: Ludwin (KVD)
- Crease: Succubus (KVD)
- Outer V: Sytry (KVD)
- Lid: 3rd Row, 1st shade L-R (BH)
- Brow bone + Inner corner highlighter: Urban Decay Afterglow 8h Powder Highlighter, in Sin
- Lower Lash-Line: Succubus + Sytry (KVD)
- Eyeliner:
- Wing: Essence’s Liquid Ink, eyeliner, waterproof
- Waterline: Essence Kajal pencil in Beach Bum + Rimmel, Exaggerate Smoke n’ Shine Automatic Gel Eye Liner Purple Craze
- Mascara: REVLON’s PhotoReady 3D Volume
- Eyelashes:
- Lashes: Eylure Dangerouss Beauty, The Lash Edit: No 141 (only outer half)
- Adhesive: DUO Striplash adhesive in black
As always I started by doing the eyebrows, applying and setting the eyeshadow primer and then applying the eyebrow bone shade.
After all those basic steps ware done I started by applying the transition shade, just to help blend out the crease shade better and give it a more gradient look. Then I applied the crease shade and took it to the outer V and diffused it. Then applied a bit more of the transition shade and blended out the crease shade.
Only when all the shadows were really well blended I applied the outer V shade and what was left on the brush I dragged it out to the crease, and kept blending it until the transition from one shade to another was seamless.
When I achieved the desired look, on a small lip brush, took some concealer and started cutting half of the crease and covered half the lid as well, with the concealer. After the crease was cut, I applied the shimmery shade to where I had put the concealer before. Then I picked up a bit of the crease and outer V shade and applied to transition zone, from the shimmery shade to the outer V shade, just so the transition would be as seamless as possible.
After I was done with the eyeshadow, I applied the glitter eyeliner to the line where the crease was cut, just to give the look something extra and finished it off with the inner corner shade.
After all that was done I applied the winged eyeliner, mascara, falsies, the waterline eyeliner and the lower lash line eyeshadows.
And that was all for the eyes!
After all that I did the FACE:
- Lotion: Benefit Total Moisture Face Cream
- Primer: Benefit POREfessional
- Color Corrector: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Peach
- Foundation: Estee Lauder, Double Wear Foundation in 2W2 Rattan + MAC’s Matchmaster in the shade 5.0
- Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard
- Setting powder:
- Under-Eye: Ben Nye Banana Luxury Face Powder
- Rest of the face: Rimmel’s Stay Matte in the shade 004 Sandstorm
- Contour: Smashbox’s Contour Palette
- Bronzer: NARS Laguna Bronzer
- Blush: Makeup Revolution Blush Palette Blush Godesss (4th shade)
- Highlighter: Urban Decay Afterglow 8h Powder Highlighter, in Sin
- Lips: Colourpop Lippie Stix in Cami
- Spray: MAC’s Prep+Prime Fix +
And as per usual, all the face products are listed in the order of application.
The look isn’t as hard as it look, just takes a lot of blending.
And that is the final look!
