Review | ABH Master Palette by Mario

Today I will be reviewing the Anastacia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario eyeshadow palette.

So this palette it’s a collaboration between the brand Anastacia Beverly Hills and the make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic also known as Makeup by Mario on social media.

First things first, who is Mario Dedivanovic?

Mario is a very famous make-up artist to the stars such as the Kardashian/Jenner family, Naomi Harris, Kate Bosworth, and so on. And his style is definitely the no make-up, make-up look but with lots of make-up (LOL). But it’s a very simple and clean make-up look that enhances the features of the face.

THE EYESHADOW PALETTE:

The palette was launched on the 29^th of September on the ABH official website, and sold with other retailers in October.

Unfortunately this palette is no longer available, because it was limited edition. I got mine recently on my last trip to Dubai at Sephora in the Dubai Mall, and there were lots of them there I didn’t expect it to be gone so soon.

Price: It was sold for 45$ at USA Sephora and I got mine for 262 AED (quite expensive).

Packaging: The palette comes inside a thin cardboard box and it’s made out of cardboard as well, with a sleek black and gold design, it has a mirror on the inside, has a double ended brush with a smudging side and a blending side and 12 eyeshadow pans.

THE PRODUCT: 

The palette itself has 12 metallic and matte eyeshadow shades (specifically 3 matte shades and 9 metallic/foiled), with 0.24oz of product making that 0.02oz of product per pan.

All the eyeshadows are very pigmented (one swipe is more than enough), buttery and finely milled. But as a consequence of being finally milled, of course, they have some fallout, but for the quality it’s something that can be looked passed.

The metallic shadows are definitely blend able and the mattes are too, except for the shade Violeta, had a bit of a hard time blending this shade. But the rest are truly amazing.

They feel very comfortable, they don’t cling onto dry patches.

They don’t have a scent that bothers, it’s something really soft, doesn’t transfer to the crease and lasts for a really long time.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

For me this palette is the complete package for everyone, you can make any look with it from an everyday look to a dark vampy look.

Has everything that we might need in an eyeshadow palette. But if I could add something to it I would definitely add a lighter highlighting shade and a matte black, to make it truly perfect.

But this palette is really good! I love it!!
