Ultra Matte Lip VS Ultra Satin Lip | Color Pop 👄💄

Today I will be doing a comparison review between the formulas of Color Pop’s Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin Lip.

We all heard that the Ultra Matte Lip is way dryer than the Ultra Satin Lip, but is that the fact? Is it really as bad as everyone puts it to be? I will be talking about all that in this post.

I bought the Ultra Matte Lips in 1^st Base and the Ultra Satin Lips in Lost. Just so I could get to know and compare the formulas first, before buying more.

 

First of all let’s review each of the formula:

Ok, now that we got all of that technicality out of the way let me tell you how they felt on the lips.

I wore them a lot during that mini holidays I took for my uncle’s wedding, and I needed them to last for the whole function, and they did. Just the Satin one, because of its transferability fades away faster.

The Matte Lip formula is drying, of course, because it’s matte, but its dryness doesn’t differ a lot from the other matte liquid lipsticks. If you are going for a matte lip, it’s probable that it will be drying.

 

( Ultra Satin Lips in Lost )

 

So, in conclusion, I would like to say that the Ultra Matte Lip is not as bad as everyone puts it out to be, it is drying but not more than other liquid lipsticks. But if you do want to go for a comfortable liquid lip that lasts as long as the matte one, you should definitely go for the Ultra Satin Lip formula.
